Hey y’all!
I’m Brandi Chantalle, a human being who moonlights as an author, freedom facilitator, and avid dilly dallyer.
My publication, In Remembrance of Real Life, is for those living authentically and aloud or seeking encouragement to do so. Think: less finely crafted content, more saying what’s real in real time.
I consider community a necessary component to any life well lived. So, my work embodies the belief that together we transform our trauma, together we harness our voice, together we create the circumstances that allow our best self to thrive.
Motivated by Pearl Cleage’s decree — “Don’t forget to do something for freedom today” — I’ve woven together restorative writing practices, curriculum development, somatic movement, and mindfulness practices to provide tools and techniques that help others show up full.
As it relates to those who most benefit from my heart’s work, I live in Maryland and proudly reside in my husband’s childhood home with our two daughters and my maternal grandmother. In my downtime, I enjoy hiking, live music, dancing, and pretending I’m not too sleepy to indulge in a good book or comedy special.
